When I’ve got an idea, my first step is to try and understand how I would put it together. Line drawings like this help me create a detailed plan for every garment in a costume from seamline to snap placement.

Plans can change in the moment during cos-making, so there are usually some discrepancies from the original concept to the final product. It’s all about learning and making the right choices!
