I don’t care, it’s just an action.”

Making my Pattern
I had already watched the HIP music video dozens, if not hundreds of times, but now I needed to search the depths of the internet in order to find any hint at what this garment looked like. I discovered the original brand - Namillia - and after seeing the bodysuit was out of stock and not coming back in stock I needed to make my own.
The first step is making a pattern! I believe I purchased and heavily modified Etsy pattern with the help of a friend (thank you Martha!)
I took pictures of the altered paper pattern with a ruler laying on top, imported those photos to Adobe Illustrator, adjusted the size and traced over the pattern pieces!
Creating my Design
I wanted to include as many Mamamoo motifs as I could while still maintaining the feel of the original design. I incorporated the Reality in Black and Purple logos, as well as the group and fandom names in Korean and romanized English.
Once I had my pants, I Pantone matched their red to Adobe Illustrator to guarantee the colors in my print would be just right.
